Absolutely, we are more than happy to help train you with your own horse. Just give us a call to make the arrangements.

Yes, all family and friends are welcome to come and view a rider’s lesson.

Yes, friends and family are welcome to come and watch you ride in your lessons.

Yes of course. Horse riding lessons are a great present for your loved ones, and even if you’re not sure what kind of lessons your loved one needs, we also have gift vouchers available.

Our coaches are not RDA qualified so we cannot provide lessons in this situation. Please contact RDA Queensland to find an RDA approved centre near you.

All our lessons are in high demand and spots book out quickly. We recommend booking all lessons at least 2 to 3 weeks in advance.

You will need to wear long pants, fully enclosed shoes (flat heeled boot) and a T-shirt or polo shirt. Dalson Park has helmets you can borrow for your lesson.

Park on the road outside the centre, come down the stairs, and into the Indoor Arena. Your coach will be waiting near the grandstand for you.

We ask that all riders arrive about 10 minutes prior to their lesson scheduled time. Lessons run to time and riders that are late will miss out on riding time.

Dalson Park requires a minimum of 24 hours’ notice for cancellation of all group lessons. Make-up lessons will be offered if the correct notice is given. For Private Lessons and/or Assessment Lessons, a minimum of 48 hours’ notice is required to cancel. No refunds are offered on Private or Assessment Lessons cancellations.

Cancellation Procedure: To cancel your lesson please text 0448 034 514 with your name and lesson time. Cancelling via text logs your cancellation time. If you are cancelling within the required notice period, you will be contacted to organise a make-up lesson.

Unfortunately, Dalson Park does not offer trail rides.

Unfortunately, due to Occupational Health and Safety, no unsupervised people are allowed on the property. Staff are busy with their normal duties and don’t have time to supervise. Please feel free to book a lesson to get your horse fix.

Yes all horses at Dalson Park are Hendra vaccinated.
